CASCO BAY ISLANDS ALLIANCE

"A VOICE FOR THE ISLANDS"

CBIA seeks to be the “voice of the Casco Bay islands.”   The organization  advocates for a cleaner environment, open space, and reliable transportation but has expanded its focus to include the preservation of island culture, traditions, and history.  It fosters inter-island communication and cooperation to address mainland issues such as parking and school department plans that affect the island communities.  To further its mission, CBIA also awards small grants to island non-profits in support of projects that benefit their communities.
